Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei der neugestaltete Bergen Triathlon, für den ich mich sofort nach Öffnung der Online-Reservierung angemeldet habe. Noch ist nichts passiert, schon jetzt zeigt sich aber, dass hier ein tolles Rennen mit Gesicht und Herz entsteht.
Soundtrack 2/2009 begleitet die Zwischenphase, nicht mehr Off-Season, aber auch noch nicht zugeschnitten auf das, was da kommen soll.
For those who did not know the inner soundtrack yet: The inner soundtrack is my soundtrack for the season. I collect these since my preparation for Hawaii 2004. The soundtrack leads me through my training, so I can recall it in the race it gives me power and strength. That´s theory, so far. It did not always work, so definitely not in Nice, 2006 sometimes it did quite well. But now the inner soundtrack 2/2009:
This season brought great experiences but claimed sacrifices as well. One of my toes is still numb, back and knees ache but still I feel more alive than I usually do at this time of the year. Carefully optimistic I set my sights for next year.
Main event will be the rearranged Bergen Triathlon, for which I signed up as soon as the registration was opened. So far, nothing more has been going on but already you can see that this is going to be a unique race with a heart and a face.
Soundtrack 2/2009 goes along with these times, no longer off-season but not yet designed for the things to come.

It was this song in my head, and not one of soundtrack 1/2009´s tracks, that got me into running on the road from Austbygde to Rjukan. Driving me forward in an almost physical way, like I hadn´t felt since Garbage´s “Happy when it rains” more than 10 years ago. Definitely part of soundtrack 1/2010.
