Nun ist er also endlich fertig. Schwer diesmal. Noch genauer als 2009 auf den Norseman zugeschnitten, weniger Ungewisses, dieses Mal weiß ich, was auf mich zukommt. Mit der Zusammenstellung des Soundtracks habe ich es mir nicht leicht gemacht. Eine fünfwöchige Testphase mit mindestens 3 Änderungen war nötig bis mir er jetzt hardangertauglich erscheint.
Für mich selbst ist dieser Status noch in weiter Ferne. Das Gewicht zu hoch, die Achillessehne ein schmerzendes Hindernis, der Rücken eine Dauerbaustelle. Ansonsten bin ich aber guter Dinge, ich weiß mich mit Andreas´Trainingsplänen in guten Händen. Eigenes Planen habe ich völlig eingestellt, das scheint mir sicherer. Die mentale Vorbereitung ist nun hiermit auch in vollem Gange. NO SLEEP ´TIL GAUSTA!
Now, at last, here it is. This time, it wasn´t easy. More than before in 2009, designed to fit Norseman. There are less uncertainties, this year I know what is waiting for me… It was a hard job to set up this compilation. It took a 5 weeks testing and at least 3 changes to it to get it hardangerproof. For myself, this state still is far away. Still too much weight, the Achilles´ tendon keeps causing trouble, my back aching in perpetuity. Apart from that I´m quite confident about my preparation, which I know in good hands, with Andreas caring about that. I quit planning and thinking for myself, which seems definitely more secure to me. And finally here and now, mental preparation starts off as well. NO SLEEP ´TIL GAUSTA!

Es scheint, als ware Pearl Jam immer schon Neil Young´s Backingband gewesen. Hochachtung vor seiner Attitüde, bei aller Größe und Legendenhaftigkeit immer die jeweils aktuellen Leuchtfeuer zu erkennen und zu würdigen. Johnny Rotten beispielsweise oder eben diese Herren hier.

Immingfell. Soundtrack für eine Mondlandschaft. Seit den späten Siebzigern trainieren hier norwegische Astronauten für bemannte Mondlandungen. Sie gehören mittlerweile zu den am besten ausgebildeten Astronauten der Welt. Leider ist das Transportproblem noch nicht gelöst.

This one was part of 2010´s Soundtrack as well. Running x-country on my home trails, Jack White made me dance uphill (anyone, who knows me, may know or at least hope, that this is just metaphorical). Hopefully, this will work on Zombie Hill, too.
